We review the existing security policies with specific consideration for compliance rules to determine which aspects can be utilized in developing an SAP Security Strategy. This stage is the right time to bring on board all the necessary stakeholders, internal auditors, etc. The final production role design will be dependent upon the requirements gathering and analysis stage.
Our consultants are able to help our clients understand how critical this stage is and provide valuable advice, input, and guidance from having performed multiple security implementations. This will enable our consultants to implement the best solution.
Design & Build
AccuSec Solutions will provide templates we have created within our knowledge database to design and build security roles. Our consultants will determine the best approach, as indicated in the requirements gathering & analysis phase. The design and build have a multitude of factors taken into account such as org structure, modules implemented, and the level of complexity.
The goals of successful security implementation are:
1. The overall architecture will support the environment;
2. The administration is easy; change management can be effective without impeding business. There are enough in-house skills to support the environment after go-live;
3. The design has taken into account the integration of the business internal controls and all regulatory and compliance issues.
Security Testing
AccuSec Solutions’ consultants have developed our own methodology for testing. The approach we use engages integration with change management and compliance requirements. Our consultants have experience in testing roles for multiple industries across many modules.
AccuSec Solutions understands that testing is the most important part of the project. The testing phase incorporates all the previous phases of the project. Our consultants will work with the client and project teams to ensure all security defects are resolved prior to go-live. AccuSec Solutions will ensure that all testing will be managed under project costs.
Go-Live Preparation & Deployment
AccuSec Solutions’ consultants have gone through multiple deployments and go-live preparations. We use our pre-determined templates to facilitate the process.
We will work with our functional and business teams to prepare a role-mapping document based on end-user responsibilities. We have utilities that enable us to speed up the creation of user IDs and assign their associated roles. There are many other tasks carried out in this phase, which our consultants are experienced in delivering.
